Obtaining PESEL number (Polish Social Security)
PESEL is the national identification number used in Poland. Wherever you go, your ID/number will accompany you, whether you go to the hospital, bank, register a car, pay taxes or obtain an electronic digital signature. PESEL is a simple and convenient way to identify and verify the identity of a natural person. With it, you can sign documents electronically, which facilitates further official processes in our country. Regardless of whether you are registered or not, we are able to provide you with a PESEL number. Members of our team will only need basic information from you, which you can do directly in our office or online. Our lawyers will take care of filling out the applications, submitting them to the office, as well as collecting the necessary correspondence, so the lack of knowledge of the Polish language is not a problem. Additionally, they will appear on your behalf before government officials, and you will stay in touch if you have any questions or concerns.
Residence registration (Zameldowanie)
Registration is a description of a person’s permanent or temporary address. This term indicates the city, street, house number and possibly the number of the apartment where the person lives permanently or temporarily. Registration is necessary for all foreigners who plan to stay in the country for more than 3 months. Registration in Poland is not only desirable, but also necessary. This way you demonstrate compliance with Polish law. Registration is one of the basic activities that must be performed if you want to settle in Poland. If you need help with registration formalities, our team will be happy to arrange them for you, including a visit to the office. All you need to do is provide us with basic information about yourself by visiting us in the office or online. Without registration, you will not be able to apply to any state authorities and institutions in Poland, as well as to banks and medical facilities. Registration in Poland will help you obtain comfortable living conditions in the future.
Opening Bank account
Do you want to open an account in a Polish bank as quickly as possible and without unnecessary difficulties? We will take care of all related formalities and organizational problems. Obtaining / Converting Driving License (Prawo jazdy)
You can drive a car in Poland if you have a driving license issued by any of the countries participating in the Vienna Convention. This document is recognized by the countries of the European Union, the CIS, the European Free Trade Association and others. Important! In Poland, if you have a certificate from your home country, you can only travel for six months after moving. If you are planning a longer stay in the country, you will have to exchange your driving license for a Polish one. This may even involve the need to take a driving test. Our team will take care of all formalities related to obtaining this document. Just contact us via the contact form, e-mail (office@legalwings.pl) or telephone number +48 538 328 975.
Registration of Car
Registering a car in Poland is a popular procedure among foreigners who plan to buy a car and want to travel around Poland or the EU with their own vehicle.
Providing ePUAP
Our team is aware that settling in a new country involves a lot of formalities, documents and cooperation with offices. These activities are made much easier by having a trusted profile (ePUAP). A trusted profile is a free tool that allows you to do this, confirm your identity in electronic administrative systems and sign a document with a trusted signature. The trusted profile is used only for contacts with public administration (offices, ministries). Our company will be happy to complete all formalities for you and prepare the documents needed to set up this profile. Team members will be in constant contact with you and will be happy to answer any questions that arise. Feel free to contact us or visit us in person at our office.
Assisting health insurance
When submitting documents to obtain a temporary residence permit, a foreigner must demonstrate that he or she has health insurance or proof that the insurer covers the costs of treatment in Poland. This means having insurance that covers the costs of treatment in Poland, i.e. enabling the use of medical and hospital services (gives the right to use the help of a doctor in a clinic, as well as the possibility of hospital treatment), or a current policy stating that the insurer will cover the costs of treatment. Our company offers assistance in preparing all necessary documentation based on the information you provide us.
Assisting PIT
Every person officially working in Poland is obliged to report their income. This is done using the PIT-37 declaration, which takes into account all the employee’s income. In Poland, this tax is often referred to as “personal income tax”. The data is collected from the PIT-11 declaration, which the employer must submit to the tax office and provide a copy to the employee. In this statement, the employer indicates how much money the employee earned in a given year.
Assisting ZUS
Having insurance in Poland is mandatory. If you need professional help, we can put you in touch with our insurance agent and also provide you with all the necessary documents you need to get it. Our team members will handle all formalities that are required to fulfill this obligation.
Assisting in reporting lost or stolen documents/TRC
The residence card is a document confirming the identity and legal status of a foreigner’s stay in Poland. Since it is a plastic card with the owner’s photo, it is easy to lose. Our company provides comprehensive services, so we will take care of all activities that are necessary in this situation. Based on the information you provide us, we will create an appropriate application, provide you with a list of necessary documents and forward everything to the office. You do not have to worry about the lack of an identity document, because correct performance of the above-mentioned activities guarantees receiving a certificate of legal residence in Poland. In the event of a crisis, feel free to contact our company and our team of experienced lawyers will make every effort to normalize your situation.
Obtaining 800+ benefits
Family 800+ is one of the most popular social programs in Poland, in which each child is entitled to a subsidy of PLN 800. Under certain conditions, it is also available to foreigners living in Poland with children. Family 800+ is a demographic support program in Poland.
Each family is entitled to a scholarship of PLN 800 per month for each child. Many foreigners can take advantage of the Family 800+ program under certain conditions. Our team will be happy to check whether your family can benefit from this program, because in addition to Polish citizens, foreigners can apply for the scholarship: people who have a residence permit in connection with performing work requiring high qualifications; having a residence permit with the right to work; have a PESEL number. If you intend to settle in Poland with your loved ones, our company will be happy to regulate your legal situation in such a way that you can benefit from the program. If you already have a residence permit, we will prepare all documentation based on the information you provide. We will perform all necessary activities and stay in contact with the office so that you can obtain funding.
Seasonal work permits for foreigners
Are you an employer that needs employees for a specific season? Seasonal work is one of the methods of legal employment in the territory of the Republic of Poland, however, the foreigner must have a permit. Only the employer can apply for this document. Such a permit entitles the foreigner to perform work for a period not exceeding 9 months in a calendar year. The procedure for issuing such a permit differs depending on whether the foreigner resides in Poland or abroad. This seemingly simple process is in practice fraught with many complexities and nuances. The Legal Wings team of experienced lawyers is ready to carry out this procedure for you. When initiating cooperation, we will only require you to provide basic information about the position. Our lawyers perfectly understand the specific nature of working with offices and have dealt with cases of this type many times. Contact us using the contact form, e-mail address or telephone number to discuss cooperation.
Statement of no tax arrears
A certificate of no tax arrears or arrears is a document issued by the tax office. The certificate confirms your current tax situation. This document is required by, among others: banks if you want to get a loan. You also need it when you plan to take part in tenders. In turn, a certificate of payment of social security contributions is issued by ZUS and also informs about the applicant’s current situation.
Obtaining social benefit statut by NGO
When establishing a non-governmental organization, we often have to choose whether it should be an association or a foundation. We will help you choose the appropriate legal form and guide you through the entire registration process. If necessary, we can also provide ongoing legal services.
Nostrification and recognition of documents
Documents such as high school certificates, high school diplomas or higher education diplomas issued in European Union countries are recognized by law. This means that there is no need to additionally confirm their authenticity by Polish institutions or offices. As Poland is becoming an increasingly popular destination to guarantee a high level of education, we would like to help students also coming from outside the European Union. Most documents issued outside this area require confirmation by the education superintendent in the form of administrative proceedings. This process is called document nostrification and allows you to confirm completion of high school, higher education or any other document related to education. Polish universities usually require the presentation of a document before starting studies or in the first months after starting studies. The process itself takes from 2 to 4 months, so it is worth taking care of the documentation in advance.
