Aug, 2024

The poland embassy in new delhi has published a news on there website on 5 August 2024 that from now on students need to submit their higher secondary certificate which MUST include the decision of the competent POLISH education superintendent regarding the recognition of the secondary school leaving certificate abroad as a document confirming the right to apply for admission to higher education in the Republic of Poland.
That means the previous educational document should be recognized by the education board in Poland.
Students wishing to obtain a visa to study in Poland will now have to present an administrative decision from a competent Polish body (the “kuratorium oświaty”). This decision must attest to the recognition of your foreign diploma (equivalence).

Consequences of not providing this document: If you do not present this new supporting document from 20 August 2024, your visa application will be refused

Why this change? This new requirement is based on a 1991 Polish law on the education system.
